Hi all,
We have an unique requirement where we need to migrate the SAP NetWeaver server to different drive in the same machine
and then paste it back in that previous drive.
Actually, our /usr/sap/<SID>/<JCXX> is in E:\ in Windows 2003 server.
Due to lack of disk space we need to migrate it to F:\ and then put in back in E:\.
My concept is:
We should take 1> Database Backup,
2> Windows Backup and 3> Windows System State Backup.
Then, we can delete the E:/usr/SAP/<SID>/<JCXX> and then restore it back to the same drive once drive space is increased.
Is it feasible and what are the possible errors which we could face?

Hello,
!. Database backup doesnt backup your usr directory.
2. Take a Windows file system backup and then delete the existing directories in E: and then after increasing the space, you can copy back the usr/sap/SID in E:
