Hi All,
I tried to send data from ECC to xMII with RFC, and according to the following doc, i completed the steps from page 4 to 6
but i got the error as
Server repository could not create function template for 'Z_XMII_SERVER' in SM58
is there any other steps i need to perform in ECC and xMII?
please help, thank you very much
Regards
Lawrensh
Hi,
Kindly let us know what version of xMII & ECC system are you using?
If its version 12.X kindly go through the below link.
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/a02bc706-15f2-2c10-1aab-a1927ada11f0
The creation of RFC Destination is clearly mentioned in the above document.
These configurations can be done wih the help of SAP BASIS support to ensure the connection holds good.
Hope it Helps.
Thanks

Hi Rajesh
Actually the RFC connection is no problem
connection test is successful
when i execute the Report, which call the Remote Function 'Z_XMII_Server'
then the message is stuck in SM58 with that error Server repository could not create function template for 'Z_XMII_Server'
Any idea on this?
Hi Lawrence,
I suspect you need to bring a Basis/NW person into this problem, but it sounds like there is not a function module template in the MII associated NW installation. Presumably this is because it is a Z- type custom message. The NW RFC Listener is recieving the information from ECC but does not know how to handle it properly.
This is just an educated guess, but seems likely from troubleshooting I have done for IDoc Listeners in the past couple of years.
Regards,
Mike
