TO failing in background job

I am having a situaion where when a user is attempting to create a TO from a TR in the background. I receive the error:

No batch input data for screen SAPLSTXBC 0100

If i create in the foreground, everything works correctly and i do not receive any error messages. However, every time a TO is generated in the background (ie receiving from MIGO) the TO fails.

What could be causing this?

Looks like you have assigned a custom TO form output, possibly also a custom print program.

This is triggering a popup window for entering the output device and hence the Auto TO is failing.

Standard SAP never expected this as the printer determination is done by SAP WM configuration.

Try maintaining a default printer for the user in SU3 and select Output immediately. If you do have a custom print program then it might be useful to make corrections there.
