Issue with Forecast

Hi,

I have ab issue with Forecast.

1. I have backward consumption for 7 days. and strategy used is 20. I have a selaes order of 6000 in 23.03.2010 bucket.

But it is till not consuming the forecast of 22.03.2010 bucket. What could be the probable reason?

2. I can see forecast in /SAPAPO/rrp3 t'code in Elements tab. But I cant see them in forecast tab. Any reason for that?

Hi Denish,

1) Check whether the master data has been properly received

from R/3

2) Check your planning calendar

3) Retry by deleting the forecast in SNP and rerelease it from

DP (for one sample item)

4) Check is there any inconsistency in transactional data between

two systems

Hi Senthil, Thanks for your reply.

None of the above exists.

I still wonder why Product View ( /SAPAPO/RRP3) does not show forecast in FORECAST tab while it displays the same in ELEMENTS tab. This is happening for only 1 product-location.

Hi Denish,

Check you product master-->demand tab, you need to assign proposed strategy as "Planning with final assembly" to get forecast tab on rrp3 view.
