When executing "define RFC des", I get the error: " logon data for destination XXXXX_CEN incorrect, check user / password".
SAP request us to run txn CNV_MBT_REP_PWD to correct the password.
I have some questions about this:
1) I remember that before starting, we did double-check the password for SAP_TDMS for all 3 systems.
We made sure the password is upper case, 8 letters and the same for each system.
Why only the central system's SAP_TDMS is wrong?
2) OK. Let's take take that fact it is wrong. Can we go SU01 instead of CNV_MBT_REP_PWD to reset it?
3) if in case the password for SAP_TDMS at sender or receiver is wrong, is there a place at the central system
to correct OR we have to go to the sender or receive to run txn CNV_MBT_REP_PWD?
Thanks!

We had the same issue as well- it seems to be occurring in TDMS4HCM components and the reason has got nothing to do with you forgetting the password.
It so happens that the RFC user that logs in to the sender, gets locked in due to some program error- either use a dialog user log on or implement the note 1332382.

Hi,
When I faced a similar situation then I resetted the password from SU01 only.
Thanks
