Pls advise do we need to do the ud for 03 insp type, incase all the qty of prod order is not ok (say, order qty is 2, 1 is accepted and 1 is rejected).

In process inspection type 03 Ud can be possible but any stock posting or any movement not possible .
What ever posting you have to do during GRN only.

UD IS POSSIBLE BUT STOCK POSTING PARTIALLY NOT
Most places run a batch job to do the UD on their 03 lots.
Use QA40 to run manually and to create your variants.
Use QA41 to schedule it.
you can run this once a day or every hour. What ever makes sense for you.

Very much possible, in QA32 when you take UD Give 2 as accepted qty & 1 as rejected qty
for rejected qty mainatin seperate storage location
