Hi ,
I have a .TPZ file which has my source datastructure in it. I will have to deploy it in my namespace, but i am not able to find any option in the Import file option in the Integration Builder. The .TPZ file is present in my local disk. How should i import this file from my local disk to the Integration Repository ?
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Sherin Jose
Hi,

with 7.0 it's not possible to do it from destkop
you need to put the file on the server
into \xi\repository_server\import
and then execute the import from IR and you will see the file

Hi All,
Thanks a ton for you valuable responses.
Now i am not able to access a particular directory.
only till \usr\sap\XXX\SYS\global is accessible, further i am not able to select \xi in that.
I am access the above location using the \al11 transaction.
Is there any other way to access this location.

As you are working on PI 7.0, as the path given by Ravi, you have to go to the path \usr\.........\import
there will be a folder import, you have to paste that file there in Import folder.
Now open IR & go to
Tool-->Import Design object
goto server list & check your object will be there in that list.
Import that,
After import that file will move to imported file on server.

Hi Sherin,
First of all looks like ur on PI 7.0, so you will not be able to import it from your local client(disk) to your Integration Builder.
This feature is available with PI 7.1 though,
I'm assuming you do know how to do a tpz import though:
If you didn't :
> Place your tpz into your system's Import directory: you can find this by opening ur Int.Builder-> Administration -> Repository-> SystemInformation->GeneralInformation
Transport
Export directory /sapmnt/XXX/global/xi/repository_server/export
Import directory /sapmnt/XXX/global/xi/repository_server/import
you will then be able to do a TPZ import into your system.
Hope this was helpful enough.
