Error in Creating Bid

Hi,

We have implemented SRM5.0, Bidding Process.

Today we have created few new vendors migrated from R/3 to SRM Quality system.

While creating Bid for the Published Bid Invitation, the moment bidders are clicking on Process Bid --> Create Button, One pop-up message appears "YOU HAVE TO REGISTER YOURSELF BEFORE YOU CAN CREATE A BID'.

Because of which we are unable to create Bid.

Please lookinto the same and help me.

This is because the bidder (contact person in your case) was not explicitly invited to the bid invitation (only the vendor, or the bidding company was). If the bidder logs on to the system and can see the bid invitation, display it first. Click on "register" button. Then creating bid should be possible.
