BU-PR linkage in Usage View

Hi,

I am using Usage view of RE-FX in my current project. I need to provide the linkage between the land master (leased in/owned land) and building master (constructed upon such land). I tried assigning Land (PR) to field Building (IB-BU) in Allowed assignment per object type field. But when I view the building master data (using REBDBU) I can not find the land assignment field to link such land with building.

Please suggest how can I provide a reference of the underlying land in building master in RE-FX.

Hi Rohit,

your requirement is unfortunately not achievable in SAP standard.

For a building we only have the following assignments:

Table TIVBDOBJTYPEASS

OBJTYPE OBJASSTYPE

IB 60

IB 61

IB 62

IB 63

IB 64

If you still want to see the link between a property and a building you might have to

enhance your BDT according to note 690900 and add a new field. It is however not

possible to get a link between these two objects in the assignments tab.

If you create a building and a land under the same business entity, isn't that enough to show the linkage?

You can link a building to a parcel (land use mgt)
