CSV to IDOC Conversion

Hello All,

I have scenario, a bank statement with an header and item CSV file to converted to FINSTA01 IDOC.

Understand the FINSTA01 IDOC has a header segment and item segment, technically is it feasible to map both the files into a single IDOC?

If so what will the design of the scenario. Like do I have convert the CSV file to XML and then XML to IDOC?

Has anyone done this kind of a scenario earlier.

Hi,

I think you know about File content conversion,it converts CSV file to XML format,

you have to implement File content conversion in Sedner File communication channel,and define XML Structure in PI,import IDoc in to PI.

just map the fileds as per your requirement.
