Hello,
I tried to install a central System R/3 Enterprise on Windows 2003 and Oracle 10.2.04 . In the installation user guide it is not mentioned which user I should use for installation of Oracle. I have only installed SAP /Oracle on Unix platforms before.
My understnading for SAP / Oracle on windows in as follow:
1. install SAP with a user with local administration right
2. install Oracle with user <sid>adm
3. install patchset with user <sid>adm
4. Load export DB in sap with user <sid>adm
Are those steps right so far?
best regards
thomas
Logon with administrator and exeucte the script "sapserver.cmd" to install the Oracle software. Do not use setup.exe!
Then install the latest patchset (10.2.0.4) and then the latest minipatch. After all that is done start with the SAP installation (sapinst).
