Simple Question: Installing ERP 2005

Hi Everyone,

I am working on my SDN subscription package, I would like to start by installing ERP 2005.

When I run the install utility from the Master Installation DVD,

I get the follwoing items to install:

Netweaver SR3

ERP 6

SRM 5

CRM 5

SCM 5

but I am not able to install anyone of them:

when I expand the ERP or Netweaver menu items

Software Life-Cycle Options - > Application Server -> MaxDB -> Dialog Instance

but I dont need a dialog instance, I need a central system !?

for a dialog instance, I need an existing SAP system and I still dont have this.

please Help,

Hi,

Path should be like this:

SAP ERP 2005 Support Release <n> --> SAP Systems --> Select your database --> Central System --> Central System.

I don't have this menu item !

I did some further online research and found this piece of information in a blog !:

SAP Installation from NW 7 SR3 onwards possible only on 64 bit platforms.

exception: you can install dialog instances further on 32-bit platforms
