Project cash management

Hi

Project cash expenditure (outflow) is planned manually against a commitment item for a WBS element.

Can availability check be activated (error message) for the commitment item if the actual expenditure is more than the planned cash flow.

Kindly confirm.

I do not think this is standard functionality. The budget will check the transaction types as per the budget profile and related configuration. Commitment items are for cash management. You can check up BCS - budget control system budgeting in Funds management, but I doubt commitment item will be an object for AVAC

Thanks Virender, but I guess the cash flow actual (payment made) shuuld be checked the planned cash flow budget in commitment item.

Otherwise whats the point of activating project cash management if it is only meant show planned and actual report without AVAC?
