Concern on Importing Records in MDM

Hello Experts,

I am facing a problem after importing records Manually via Import Manager. I am trying to import an XML file by placing it in the Ready folder of its respective Port created in MDM along with its correct Map.

The file gets imported successfully and gives message 'Imported Successfully'but when i check the Data Manager I cannot see the new records which are expected. There are no exceptions raised and the XML file has been moved to Archive folder.

Kindly advice on what could be going worng? I checked import using Create/Update/Replace actions too.

Hi,

Please crosscheck if you have specified correct Fields for Matching and appropriate Import Action in Import Manager.

Hi Elizabeth,

I had faced something like this long back.. in version 7.1 Patch 4.. But on upgrading it to Patch 13, the error did not occur again.

Verify with the version you are working on. Also you can try to restart the server and check too.
