Rebates (Std) Multiple Validity Dates for the same Condition record

Hello,

I hope you can help.

I have the need to have many rebate condition values for the same condition record with different validity dates within the same rebate agreement number.

e.g. For agreement number '12345' (Agreement validity dates = 01/01/2010 to 31/12/2010) I want to have a condition record which says the following for Customer no '123456' and material number 'abcde'

Validity between 01/01/2010 and 28/02/2010 = 5%

Validity between 01/03/2010 and 30/06/2010 = 10%

Validity between 01/07/2010 and 31/12/2010 = 7%

If I try to create a new condition record with the same Customer / Material combination but a different Validity Date I get error message VK241 (Validity periods for condition record exceed the agreement validity) although it plainly does not.

This is standard Condition technique for normal SD pricing.

I have tried to implement OSS Note 552408 but that only allows mixed validity dates within the list of condition records, not within the same condition record.

Has anyone met this issue before, or have a solution for a desparate person.

Is my only solution to maintain separate rebate agreements?

Many thanks

TonyS

Hello Tony,

unfortunately there is not a way.

It is necessary to create separate rebate agreements.

Best regards,

Ivano.

Hello Ivano,

Very many thanks for your help and confirmation of the reply I got from SAP Waldorf.

It is a pity that the Rebates condition technique does not follow the same pattern as standard pricing.

But I suppose we are 'stuck' with it.

Many thanks again
