In MIC what happens when i select refenece characterstics?What is the advantage of using it?

Hi,

Reference charecteristic can be used where you have to assign Class charecteristic to MIC..

Same Class charecteristic can be assign to the class which is used in material master.

Same class charecteristic has to assign to material in material master additional data --prapotion data tab.

It is commanly used in process industry for potency calculation.

Hi,

If MIC is reference char, then if you make any change in the specification of the MIC say lower limit or upper limit etc, same changes will be seen in all the insp plans wherever this mic is used.
