SAP PI system Ack

After reading the available SAP's documentation regarding the above,

turning it over,upside down,and undereaith ,

I have found no documentation regarding

the customization\Development required in XI in order to produce such an Ack from XI as a standalone.

I am reffereing explicitly to a File adapter system Ack on the sender side or using SAP PI IDoc adapter

without the colaboration of SAP Back End (Not using ALEAUDIT back from SAP ERP)

Also mentioned in sap.help that -

"Receiver adapters that run on the Adapter Engine support system acknowledgments and system error acknowledgments if they are requested by the sender"

My quesntion is - if I have a file to file scenario,can I get a system Ack from the reciever adapter back

to the sender adapter and can I use this data to be writen into a flat file?

I don't get this one - ack on sender ?

only SAP backends create acks it's not PI's functionality

So the ALEAUDIT is used as system ack as well as appl. ack?

at receiver SAP app system I'd say yes

what about the first case I have mentioned?
