CFM2 and CFM3

Hi

Is there any technical difference between CFM2 and CFM3 transactions. Although CFM3 shows ( executable in background), the same is achievable via CFM2 as well.

what makes the difference between them. any pointers on this pls.

Apart from executing in background, the following are the

other criteria that can be used for executing this transaction

(CFM3)

1) Scheduling horizon

2) Version specific activation

3) Ignoring faulty queue entries

4) Configuration relevance products for APO
