Customized Status profiles in Solman Service desk

Hello All,

I have a situation where i have to maintain Two different Statuses for two different users: Key user and Message processor in solman servicedesk.

Statuses for Key user are:

1. NEW

2. Testing

3. Rework

4. Confirmed

Statuses for Message Processor are:

1. NEW

2. In process

3. Customer Action

4. Sent to SAP

5. Proposed Solution

What i have done: I have copied Status Profile SLFN0001 to ZSLFN002 and assigned to Transaction type ZSL1(this is copied from Standard SLFN). And assigned the customized status profile in object type S_USERSTAT for the role of Message processor.

But the customized statuses are not reflecting for the users.

Please help me. I have very short time to complete.

Plz give solution as soon as possible.

Hi Vinod

You can only have one status profile assigned to one transaction type.

so in your case you can have a status profile covering all the status values i.e 9 but

Access can be restricted to Key User and message processor using authorization key assigned to user status giving u a flexibility

Thanks a tons, Your solution worked for me.

Can u send me any link or doc related to customized statusprofiles creation.

That means, i want to create a status profile similar to SLFN001 with diffrent values.

spro-scenario specific settings-service desk-status profile here choose the slfn001 and copy it to z* and create status values whatever you want and later

assign it to ur transaction type
