IDES 4.6C installation on standalone computer.

Hello.

I am in the processing of installing IDES 4.6C on a standalone computer for the developers to run the demo training. I have ordered the IDES 4.6C software from SAP with SQL as a database, unfortunately I could not g et the SQL install on the standalone computer as it is not a W2K server, the OS I installed to this standalone computer is Windows 2000 workstation.

Is anyone can provide me with a solution to go around this issue as I do not want IDES install on a server? Please advice.

AFAIK We need Server as the OS for installing IDES.

Setup a different machine with server s/w and dont connect to network. YOu just want to install IDES righy . Unless u connect to the network ,It wont be connected.
