Inspection lot should not get generated whenevr the movement type 309.

Hi Gurus,

My client has the following requirement.

Inspection lot should not get generated whenevr there is material to material stock transfer using the movement type 309 within the storage location or from one storage location to other.

The inspection type 08 is avtive.

Please help me with this.

You can deactivate insp. lot generation for mov type 309 in SPRO settings.

Thanks for the inputs.i cannot remove inspection type 08 as it will stop the generation of the inspection lot in any stock transfer.That is not required.

The lot should not get generated only when 309 is doe(This is used for the grade conversion process in the plant)

I found the following method.I hope this works.

In IMG- Quality management-Inspection lot creation-inspection for goods movement-Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type-Here we can select the movement type and select the check box QM not active.

I hope this works.

Hi,

If you do not want to generate inspection lot during then why dont you remove 08 inspection type..IT is always better remove 08 inspection type if you do not want lot.

In custamizing it sekf deactivate quality for movement 309
