If I Install SAP GUI 7.10 - path problem

If I try to install SAP GUI, this error occurs, this is only one of the data that are missed

Action-Type State Error Source Destination Error-Code Source destination

File Install The system cannot find the path specified C:\DOKU.... ... \ wdtlog.ocx C:\...SAPShared\wdtlog.ocx

Could somebody help me or have/ had the same problems and solved it? Error Code 2147024893

Hello,

for the first and from this error message i would say, that the Installation source is damaged or corrupt.

But for an deepar analysis, we need all the LOG file from the logs folder... and then it would be better, you open an

OSS message in BC-FES-INS. Then you can attach all the log files into this message and we can have deeper look

s in the log files.

Do you use an Installation server?

Please check if the file wdtlog.ocx

present o your installation server share in the SAPGUI folder !

If not, you can copy this file from an Installation CD to your Installation server share, but this is not an official

supported way to fix such issues...

as i said it before, i think your installationsopurce is damaged.

But it is better to clarify this in an OSS message, where we can analyse all your log files.

We need the log files to analyze your problem!

Also a possible reason is an corrupted installation of the VCREDIST files from MS.

But this all we can see in the log files.
