Hi,
I have a created a mobile (laptop) based application using NW 7.1 SP05. The application is built on NWDS and i was able to build and deploy it with no errors. I wanted to run it in the laptop which has the mobile client installed. When I run the applicaiton I get a error message "Cannot bind to listening socket".
On my laptop I have the Max DB, mobile client and all other necessary components required to run the application as well the application is configured in NWDS to launch the client. But it does not launch the client rather throws an error as described above. Please advice.
Thanks!!!!
Hemendra.
Hi,
how did you install the client? Did you copy th XML files to connect Client and MaxDB into settings folder and did you add relevant properties as well for DB connection?
Seems your setup is not correct. What happens if you start client form CMD window?

Oliver
