What is the difference among DMIS_HR, DMIS_BSC and DMIS?

Could somebody kindly explain their differece? I googled but failed to come up with a conclusion.

Also why DMIS_HR_2008_1_700 requires DMIS_CNT?

DMIS: it is the basis layer for TDMS and a must for running any TDMS package for any SAP Application

DMIS_CNT: is the component need for any SAP Application, primarily for ERP. So for ERP you need to install this along with DMIS.

DMIS_BSC: is the component needed for BI and CRM. So for BI and CRM you need to install this plus above two components

DMIS_HR: is the component needed for HCM system. So for HCM u need to install this plus DMIS plus DMIS_CNT.
