Hello experts,
Is there is a possibility of configuring a group of Web services implemented in ABAP, instead of configuring them individually?
We are finding it tedious to configure each of the service individually.
From SAP help, i figured out that thisfeature is available for Web services in Java... Is it not available for ABAP?
Regards,
Vivek
Hi Vivek,
We have around 150 web services in each client. We want generate all these web services at a time. I have tried this mass generation in SOAMANAGER. But it is not working.
I will give you the clear idea on the procedure followed by me
1) Created a profile under technical configuration in SOAMANAGER
2) Created a scenario under Mass configuration in SOAMANAGER
3) Assigned profiles to web services
4) Started the activation under Activation Requests Management
A last step is showing the message u201CActivation completed successfullyu201D. But it is not creating any endpoints.
Do we need to perform any other steps?
Thanks.
Nagarjun

Nagarjun,
You have rightly listed the steps here.
Since it is not working for you still, check if the profiles and the scenarios are active. Even if one of them is inactive Endpoints will not be created.
We are running Enhancement Pack 4. By looking at the SOAMANAGER label names you mentioned (like Mass configuration etc), you are probably not on EHP4. Check for SAP notes if there is any other configuration needed for earlier EHPs/releases.
Good luck.

Vivek
Hi Vivek,
Thanks for your quick repsonse.
I have created profiles in SOAMNAGER first and then created scenarios for web services. After that i assigined the profiles to web services.
Do we need to run any job to activate this configuration?
If possible, Can you please provide step by step procedure for this activity?
Thanks,
Nagarjun.
