Error in applying sapnote_0000564576_DB13_Backup_Inconsistency

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to apply sapnote 564576 to resolve my issue in db13. My problem is I'm not allowed to log on using the ff:

SQL> connect sapr3/<pwd>

I dont know the password for user sapr3 since i'm only new to the company. I tried "sap" as password but it fails. Please let me know hot wto check the password or any other way to apply the note.

Hi Eleazar,

Is there any specific reason you are not using SNOTE transaction for applying the note?

Hello,

I have checked the SAP Note for you.

For point 2/ you don't have to connect to the DB, you can also perform this action in SAP with transaction SE14.

Start tcode SE14

Enter the table name

Push ENTER

Select radio button "Delete data"

Afterwards push the button "Activate and adjust database".

This will have the same effect and delete all data in SDBAP and SDBAR.

Afterwards check via SE16 if both tables contain no longer data.

Success.

Hi Sourabh,

The reason for applying the note is to fix my issue in DB13. There are a lot of cancelled jobs which are redundant everyday. This was due to deletion of recurring jobs. I just recently cleaned up db13 and create new schedules.
