Sevice contract Item level maintenance

Hi,

Can we use Product Like finished goods or spares along with the service product (DIEN material)? If so, where can we make cantrol related to this requirement. And in standard which document type and Item category assignment should I use. Please help me out.

Create your own z-item category group and put the properties you need from the other two.

Then go to spro->sd-> sales doc item-> assign item categories and make the appropriate assignments.
