Central User Administration(CUA) naming conventions

Hi,

We are using CUA to create users on the Portal and ECC.As per the client requirement they want the Portal user id with the naming convention as intial 3 letters as company's initial and followed by '_' and the email id which together will be more than 12 chars.But the basis mentioned the size limitiation is 12 characters.

I want to know whether it is possible to increase the size limit of the user id on CUA.If yes how?

If no what is your suggestion?

Hi,

As to the best of my knowledge, I dont think if there is any such possibility of increasing the length of User ID. Best option is to have naming convention for the login ID between 12 digits only. Instead of mail ID you can take their employee ID or any other unique which would come within 12 digits including initial three letters.

This is not possible, as the field for the userid in USR02 is only for 12 characters.
