Same SP level for all TDMS systems?

We plan to set up our first TDMS on BI7.0.

The landscape is:

BI7 (sender) -- SM7 (controller/central) -- BI7 (receiver).

We can make sure that sender and receiver have the same SP level.

However,

-- How can SM7 be the same SP level as BI?

-- If cannot, can we use another BI7 to be the controller?

-- Actually can ERP or CRM be a controller in this scenario? And if so, what is the SP level requirement?

Answers to your questions are below -

Same SP level over here is required for Add on components DMIS, DMIS_CNT, DMIS_BSC. All the three system in the landscape should have same SP level (latest being sp13) for TDMS add on component.

-- If cannot, can we use another BI7 to be the controller?

Yes you may use a BI7 system as controller.

-- Actually can ERP or CRM be a controller in this scenario? And if so, what is the SP level requirement?

Yes you may use any system which has basis 6.2 and above as a central/controller system.

I try to give you points but seems SDN cannot give points today. Tried several times but failed.

So, all SP here means support packages for DMIS, DMIS_CNT, DMIS_BSC, NOT for ECC, BI, etc?

I try to download DMIS, DMIS_CNT, DMIS_BSC from service.sap.com but cannot find them. Why?
