XI IDoc control record data source?

Does anyone know where XI gets its data to populate the control record in the IDoc adapter? We have a situation where we copied our Prod system to QA. After changing all settings for QA, we still have a situation where the SNDPRN field on the control record has the PROD partner number. Thanks.

We are letting XI create the control record.

It seems that there is a piece of config that did not get changed when we copied prod to qa... maybe something in the SLD....

Hi Paul,

1) Go to Business Systems->Menu->Adapter Specific Identiefiers in Integratio Directory- check that , is it pointing to correct SAP system etc

Have a look into these SAP Notes-792333,789895,886263

Hi,

If you have not selected the Option Apply COntrol Record values from the payload, XI will take the details from the Sender and receiver Business Systems.

As the Business Systems will be associated with a logical system, the corresponding names will be used by XI for the Sender and Receiver respectively.

If yoyu have selected the option Apply Control Reord from Payload, take sender and receiver fro m payload, they are taken from the payload.
