Issue in MM after import

Former Member

I have developed a scenario IDOC-WS with

Service pack:09

Release:645_VAL_REL

This scenario works fine.

Later I imported the objects to

Service pack:05

Release:NW701_05_REL

Now I am facing a strage issue.

I checked field mapping of both MM (in Dev and imported servers) they look exactly similar.

The MM which executes succesfully on the developped system is not working on the imported system. I copied test payload from dev system and tested in test tab of imported server.

I checked message Queues at each and every level. They look exactly same, but generate MM error.

Exact error is : Cannot produce target element /ns0:BomDetails/ns0:BomDetail[2]/bom. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd

I am not sure why the same mapping is not working on the new system...!!!

Is it issue with versions of the different servers?

If anyone has faced the same issue earlier, let me know

Thanks

Hi,

I'd suggest changing the mapping

you can also check my blog:

/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2009/03/04/pixi-pi-71-upgrademigration--message-mappings

but a far a I know it only relates to 7.1 and EhP1 for 7.0

but check it

Right...

But both the systems here are on 7.0 with diff SP levels

why is it giving errors in my case?

Thanks.

Hi Michal,

When I ran the URL I got following mesg:

Message Mapping Upgrade Report

Context Caching Functions (See SAP Note : 1261933)

No mappings found

I dint see much useful in the above note.

Please suggest.

hi,

then the only way is to correct the mapping so it will work on your new sp level

and leave it that it worked in the past...

or create an OSS message
