NWDI 7,0 Post Install Configuration to SLD 7.1

Hello All,

NWDI 7.0 and SLD 7.1

I have installed NWDI 7.0 and I am completing the post install which includes configuration to the SLD , which in this case is version 7.1.

All my documentation and all the documentation I find for post install configuration refers to an SLD 7.0 .. which uses

Visual Administrator ( VA ).

I am not able to translate the activities that are set out for VA to NWA .....

Is there a document for NWDI 7.0 to configure to SLD 7.1?

Any help is so appreciated .... I must say I have discovered so much information on this site in pursuit of my answer. Just not the answer I am looking for.

In SLD 7.1x, there are 2 users involved which are SLD_DS_<SID> and SLD_CL_<SID> (<SID> is the instance SLD locates at). Unlike user SLDDSUSER in 7.0x, user SLD_DS_<SID> in 7.1x has read-only access to SLD content, not enough for all registration actions.

To register your NWDI 7.0 in SLD 7.1, it's the same way which is in VA to provide SLD host/user SLD_CL_<SID>/password etc. I think in NWDI when you configure the domain first time you'll need to provide the same info.
