SAP SRM 7.0 Offline appoval not working for shopping cart

SRM gurus,

We have set up the SRM offline approval based on the below set up link

system is triggering mails to SOST and OUT LOOK but if approve or reject no action to the work item.

Please suggest.

Hello,

Are you able to see the incoming e-mails in SOIN transaction?

Note 1442161 is helpful.

Also, check if the SAPCONNECT user for inbound processing has the following roles:

- /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

- /SAPSRM/OP_PURCHASER

i have checked in SOIN not able to see any incomming mail, still no update of the status.

Hi Vinod,

It seems like the inbound email configuration is not setup correctly to SAP system. Ask your Basis or Network team to configure the Port correctly in the mail server to point SAP system.

Hi Vinod,

There are only two reasons that inbound could not reach to SAP SRM system.

1 . if the SAPconnect service is not configured correctly with user id and password.

2 . when the PORT is not maintained correctly in the mail server.

check the above setups..
