NWDS SP11 and JDI SP15, are they compatible?

Hi,

I would not like to unnecessarily patch my DevStudio.

Can I use NWDS SP11 with JDI SP15.

Or does the new JDI have absolute new features which cannot be interpreted by an older NWDS version?

An older NWDS with a newer server should work but not vice versa. But I would recommend to have both on exactly the same revision.

You should have NWDS and NWDI to be of exactly same version level.

For some time I have NW04 SP11 IDE and NW04s server (sure, I have NW04s IDE as well). Applications developed with this SP11 IDE run succesfully on server. However, as Armin noted, it is alwasy better to have more recent IDE version. Even if you'll have same amount of bugs, you'll have more features available
