We have a manufactuirng plant which has been defined in the system, in the same plant there will be seperate group to manage the contract manufactuirng. This group has to be identified in the system, should I create a virtual plant (with the same adddress for this group), or is there any other higher archy to take care of this req.

Dear Raj,

Since the Sub Contractors are working inside the Plant and the Material is not moving out of your premises, there is no need to create another Plant. Just create the Sub Contractors as Vendors and issue the Material from your Plant to Sub Contractors for Sub Contracting works and on completion take the Materials back in the normal Subcontracting process.

Other thing is, your's is an MM issue and this is an SD Forum, hence post this query in MM Forum.
