SRM7 & PORTAL

Can anyone of you tell me if we go for upgrade to SRM 7 it has to be with portal.

Meaning, can we implement SRM7 without ran sap portal

I understand that in SRM7 SP5 that all ready release we can work SRM 7 without portal.

Is anybody know where I can find reference information ? for that so I can give to my basis support team.

SRM 700 SP05 has flexible options not to have portal .

Muthu is correct. You can use the NWBC (NetWeaver business client) to riender the SRM Application with out portal from SRM7.0 SP05.

Hello,

SRM_SERVER 700 has been developed on NW 7.01, so it needs to be integrated with portal.

The idea of having a separated SRM system and portal does not exist anymore as of SRM 5.0.

My understanding is that up until now, SRM 7 front end has to be operated on Enterprise Portal. But from SRM 7.0 enhance pack 1 on, it can be operated without EP.
