Hi,
In the UDS Host OPC DA properties, when I changed the OPC DA from 3 to 2, it started to read the tags fine. Does it have something to do with the 'Force Flat Namespace' property? Can somebody explain with more detail what it is about?
Regards,
Chanti.
The OPC DA property in UDS sets the OPC Data Access compatibility Level. Some OPC Servers support OPC DA 3.0, most all of them support OPC DA 2.0. In the KepWare OPCQuickClient, If you right click on the Server, select Properties, then select the Interfaces Tab on the form you will see the support level for the OPC server. Vendor specific information is also available at
http://www.opcfoundation.org/Products/ProductVendors.aspx
Best advice on the Flat Namespace option is to try it both ways to see what works best.
