Wt is the transit time? where we fix the transit time and route stages?

Hi

In Logistics Transit Time is the time taken for the goods to travel from one place to another place

Say you are having a plant in Mumbai where you do the PGI against the sales orde

Now this stocks say go to a customer at Kolkatta

It may take one or two days for the truck to reach Kolkatta from Mumbai

This time is transit time that is one or two days

Given in t code 0VTC

In STO Transit Time as per system is time gap between GI done in issueing plant and GR done in receiving plant

Stages are given in t code 0VTE

Transit Time

The transit time is the time in days that is required to deliver goods from your premises to the customer location. It is defined for a route.

Transit time assignment to Route

IMG--> sales and distribution --> basic function --> Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling --> Route
