Hi Experts,

I have ascenario where i have to pick the file from mainframes to ECC. I thought of using with FTP in file ,but when i asked for the main frame path the client is saying they are using mainframe open source . Experts can any one help me how to proceed further.

Hi,

Main frame system genarates flat file, you can ask main frame team to place genarated file in FTP location,from there you can pick up the files using File Adapter.

if they not ready to place files in FTP location,they you can request them where they currently placing all files.as you mentioned already in one open source system,then you can try with java proxy.(not sure),provide some more details about the open source then only we can advice.
