SAPLSPOF stuck at action "roll out"

Hi,

At SM50, there are rare occurances when a dialog process running the report "SAPLSPOF" is stuck at action "ROLL OUT". The users are using webgui. The process developer trace shows that a roll out action is initiated after a timeout occurs, and the process will remain in that state until we manually terminate the process. Any idea whats wrong? Thanks.

Hello,

As far as i can understand. You are getting an authorization failure that can be resolved with a authorization in a role based on the authorizatin object S_DATASET.

there is a authorization failure you need write (or read) access from program SAPLSPOF.

The users are using webgui.

That sounds to me like a kernel bug(are you up-to-date ?) but also check parameter icm/keep_alive_timeout and make sure it hasn't been disabled or given a too high timeout.
