Delivery & PGI creation in the past date.

Dear Friends,

I want to create a Sales order to-day with a past date and want to Deliver in past date.

To-day's date is 10/03/2010.

I want to create the Sales order for 28/02/2010, Delivery document for 28/02/2010 as well as PGI for 28/02/2010.

Can any body please help me to meet this requirement?

Dear Friend,

You can try like this

First you remove tick mark in : Sales Document Type " for Requested Delivery Date.-------"Propose Delivery Date"

Switch off Availability Check at Schedule Line Level and Again at "Delivery Item Category Level"

It should Work

Apart from the suggestion already given, as you would be aware while doing PGI, stock will get reduced based on Actual GI Date. So at the time of PGI, here whatever date you key in, system will consider that as your stock posting. But on this date, stock should be made available.

Similarly, in billing document also, billing date would be proposed based on this Actual GI date.

Only thing is period should be open in your case.
