Is Web Dispatcher mandatory for NWBC?

Hi all,

I want to install NWBC for some of my clients.

We work in intranet environment.

According to the configuration guide a Web Dispatcher is needed.

"A Web Dispatcher must be placed before the AS ABAP system(s)"

My question is:

Is it mandatory also for intranet scenarios?

Solved it me own.

After installing NWBC there is a configuration guide (nwbc30.pdf).

In page 44 it's written:

A Web Dispatcher can be placed before the AS ABAP system(s) to function as a reverse proxy.
