ENTER NETWORK PASSWORD

Hi Experts,

When i open my Internet Explorer and put a link (for time reporting) in the address bar and press Go or press enter, it opens up a small window saying

ENTER NETWORK PASSWORD in the header and asks for a username and a password, "saying please type your username and password" with a key icon in the begining and then beneath that it looks something like this

(KEY) please type your username and password

SITE: xyz

REALM : xyz

USERNAME: (TEXTBOX)

PASSWORD : (TEXTBOX)

(checkbox) save this password in your password list.

OK (Button) Cancel (Button)

This wasnt there before the release, i.e before moving on SP14, at SP 12 this was never there.

How do i get rid of this. Plz help.

Hi

I think you are working in a company and it is realted with your local security setup.please save the nw username & pwd once. it won't pop up again

Thanx for your reply. But this screen was not there before, it only came up when we moved to SP 14.

We are in a DOMAIN, do you think it has got something to do with the domain?

Hi

YES.My company issued internet & network username and pwd. So when ever we access internet, a pop-up appears for entering username & pwd. Hope you are getting the same.

I did'nt face any problem in SP14
