Communication component in Direct Connection

Hi all,

We were configuring a direct connection scenario between ECC and SRM (both SAP systems) using the following links :

Both the links refer to a "Logon Data" tab where certain settings have to be set. However, in the communication component (Business system) in ID, we can't find any "Logon Data" tab.

Is there any seperate setting required for this or can anyone suggest where we might be going wrong.

Did you do all the settings as mentioned in the document:

Logon Data is required when you deal with WS (not SOAP) Protocol....check page 28 of the given link.

Hi Abhishek,

Yes I followed this link. However, when I get to the Logon data page, I'm stuck as I can't see the tab in my Business system.

You need to add the product SAP NETWEAVER PI7.1 to the business system Installed software tab in SLD.
