Drop down list and RFC call

Hi all,

I am new to Web Dynpro.

I want to create a drop down list in a screen in CRM, which has values coming from a table in ECC.

The table does not exist in CRM. When I tried to create a RFC FM to get the data it said that the FM should exist in CRM too.. wierd... If I copy the FM to CRM I cannot copy the code as the table i am fetching the data from does not exist in CRM.

I am looking for a good way to getting this done. Can you please help.

I will also appreciate if you can help me with some links to the Tutorials on Web Dynpro for ABAP.
