Configtool run slows X-windows

Configtool runs really slow using Xwindows. Is there another way to change the config tool or another way to use it so that the display repaint speeds up?

Is there a local gui client that can run that is not native Xwindows?

Hi Weyland

Restart your server and then try again config tool..I don't think there is another way for opening config tool.
