SGEN terminates with deadlock

Hi,

I've just installed Solman EhP1 n have updated the system to SP21..however when I execute SGEN, it terminates with the foll. error:

SM21:

Deadlock occurred

Database error 1205 at UPD access to table GENSETC

> [1205] Transaction (Process ID 58) was deadlocked on lock

> resources with another process and has been chosen as the

> deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

Run-time error "DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR" occurred

> Short dump "100309 043547 EBSSOLMG R_SM7_00 " generated

ST22:

Database error text........: "[1205] Transaction (Process ID 58) was deadlocked

on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock

victim. Rerun the transaction."

Internal call code.........: "[RSQL/UPDT/GENSETC ]"

Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).

I've got the kernel patch 55 for 7.01..Win 2008 SP1/SQL 2005...

pls. help.

Even if I try to generate loads for 1 component it terminates:(

SGEN took 4 days..whewww (wiping forehead)..had to schedule it every 5 minutes..

only to realise later on that there was a missing index on the GENSETC table.
