Hi,
When we create a Product Cost Collector (PCC) for a material for the first time, we can choose at which controlling level this PCC is created (Production version or BOM/routing or Production Plant/Planning Plant).
However when we delete this PCC and try to create a new PCC for the same material, we have no option for choosing the controlling level. The choice options are grey and the new PCC can only be created at the same controlling level as the previously deleted PCC.
We use transaction KKF6N.
Could anybody advice us, how to change the controlling level for a material?
Best regards,
Marcin

Hi Marcin,
Please try to change the Controlling level in transaction CKMLMV_CA for anothers and then, to create a new product
cost collector for this material and plant in transaction KKF6N. You cannot change the Controlling level if there are procurement
alternatives or procurement processes for that Controlling level that are already being used (You said delete PCC). If you want to change the Controlling level, note the restrictions in the following cases:
1)A product cost collector already exists for the Controlling level. In this case, you can only change the Controlling level after the product cost collector in question has been deleted.
2)Production processes that are assigned to a cost object hierarchy already exist for the Controlling level. In this case, you can only change the Controlling level if the production process has been removed from the cost object hierarchy.
3)Procurement alternatives that are used in a mixing strategy already exist for the Controlling level. In this case you can only change the Controlling level if you remove the procurement alternatives for the strategies displayed.
Best regards, Takashi
