After installing SAPGUI for Windows 6.40 patch level 14 and <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/webdynpro?rid=/library/uuid/f941800e-0701-0010-29ba-b29c5caa8eeb">sap Web Dynpro Client for Windows 6.40 Beta Release</a> locally on two computers there is Web Dynpro Applications tab on one computer but there is not on another. Any adeas why?
Are you sure its just not hidden under the others. Expand the log on pad a little, see if it is under there.
Or check the left most icon for a drop down of the available tabs.

The hint about drop down was a solution, thanks.
There was no drop down! And even SAP Management Console did 'core dump'. Thinking that non-clean SAPGUI installation (6.4 over 6.2) I uninstalled SAPGUI, reboot, and installed SAPGUI again - alles kilngt!
Unfortunately, login to Web Dynpro from SAPGUI for Windows works only for http://localhost but this will be a subject of another question.
