Hello all
We have a requirement not to allow decimals in sales order qty for certain UOMs
Say for a matrerial if the UOM is EA then in sales order system should not allow 1.2 or 1.8 or 2.6 etc
At present it allows
We want system to throw error if any one enters in decimals like 1.2 for a material for which the UOM is EA
I checked the CUNI configuration and there seems to be no controls to achieve my requirement
Is it possible thro any simple configuration?
Regards
Raja
One suggestion you can follow what has already been suggested. The other work around is that in material master under sales area tab, you can maintain the Minimum Sale Order quantity as 1 so that it will allow to create in multiples of 1 and not in decimals.
thanks

Hi
Thanks for all replies
CUNI if we make that as zero system is taking as blank and allow decimals
I have already tried this before posting this question
If anyone get it successfully in CUNI pls let me know
As of my knowledge this is not possible in CUNI
The delivery unit in MMR i already suggested to client we can activate that and subsequently set V4-081 msg as error in OVAH
This is masterdata change which will affect us in future
Then this is a retail client who has 2 lakh articles data in Material master tables which is going to be huge task to update for all these 2 lakh articles
Hence i required inputs from you all regarding any possible config
If no config is available we can do it through exit
If anyone has better suggestions kindly come forward

Raja
Hi Raja,
use T-Code CUNI and change the decimal places for UOM EA to zero.

Hi Raja,
I think its there in T-code CUNI.
If you go in details then in Display cloumn, there is a feild "Decimal places".
This parameter determines the number of decimal places with which this measurement unit is displayed.
Hope it helps,
